The 2022 A&D Cellar Set is Napa Valley in a slightly unbuttoned mood. The 2022 Mountain Peak Vineyard arrives dark, fragrant and swaggering with black cherry, crushed rock and a little mountain menace. The 2022 Cabernet Franc is floral and vivid, full of violet, graphite and red fruit, and feels almost too easy to drink for something this serious. A warmer vintage combined with four years of patient aging have conspired to round the edges beautifully. The tannins have softened, the aromatics have stretched out and the flavors are just right.
