As summer lingers in Napa, the new California Nouvelle menu looks to Mexico, with bright flavors, plenty of acid and chile, and food made for hot afternoons.
A piquant tuna tostada starts the menu with aguachile negro, Brokaw avocado, and benne seed. Grilled corn is dressed, esquites-style with a vinaigrette made from local corn miso and finished with aged Parmigiano Reggiano. Flannery beef comes charred off the grill with salsa cruda and a guajillo chile sauce we call Mexican A1.
The cooking stays simple and ingredient-driven, borrowing Mexican flavors while staying rooted in California and the way we cook at Ashes & Diamonds.
Each course is thoughtfully paired with five Ashes & Diamonds wines, bringing the vineyard, farm, and cellar together at the table.

Enjoy the carefully curated A&D Member Picnic while gazing at the rolling grass berms of Ashes & Diamonds. This is a seated bottle-service experience in which the A&D culinary team provides your picnicking snacks, including curated local cheeses with our A&D Sourdough Focaccia, seasonal chips and house-made dips and other picnic accoutrements. This experience is 75–90 minutes. Wine is not included in the experience cost.
