Ashes & Diamonds Winery is a love letter to Napa Valley as it was when it took the world stage in the 1960s, revealing itself, along with Santa Cruz, as a geological wonderland capable of world-class wines.

Located at the gateway of Napa Valley, along its main artery, Highway 29, Ashes & Diamonds Winery’s mid-century approach extends to its architecture. As an homage, the iconic zig-zag roof and portholes are a few of the iconic references to the heritage of California mid-century modern design, seamlessly integrated with a state-of-the-art wine production facility surrounded by light, airy landscapes and playful, rolling berms.

A&D DELIVERY & DRIVE-THRU

The A&D Drive-Thru

Ashes & Diamonds winery will be open for drive-thru pickup Monday-Friday from 11am to 5pm. Please call upon arrival and a team member will leave your order for safe pickup at the drive-thru kiosk. All purchases of 3 bottles or more receive complimentary A&D Snacks such as focaccia, Rancho Gordo bean dip, house-made pickles, and Cowgirl Creamery fromage blanc. Purchases of 6 or more bottles also receive complimentary caviar.

The A&D Delivery

Our team will be making deliveries on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 4pm. A team member will call upon arrival, leave your order by the door and wait to give you a wave from a safe social distance. All purchases of 3 bottles or more receive complimentary A&D Snacks such as focaccia, Rancho Gordo bean dip, house-made pickles, and Cowgirl Creamery fromage blanc. Purchases of 6 or more bottles also receive complimentary caviar.

TASTING EXPERIENCES

THE A&D WINES - $45/$55

A tasting of four portfolio wines for $45 / person or four limited-production wines for $55 / person. The tasting can be enjoyed in our lounge area, at our tasting bar or on our outdoor patio looking out onto the estate vineyards.

This experience is 45-60 minutes.

THE A&D WINES + FOOD - $95

A portfolio tasting of five wines from our current release with a satisfying five-course selection of seasonal, fresh and wood-fired dishes prepared in-house by our resident chefs.

This experience is 60-90 minutes.

THE A&D VINTAGE EXPERIENCE - $250

The A&D Vintage Experience provides a retrospective tasting opportunity for the wine scholar looking to explore the iconic and storied mid-century era of Napa Valley. This is an opportunity to learn about the vineyards and vintners who inspired the winemaking style, farming practices and ethos of Ashes & Diamonds. Following a private tour of the estate vineyards, production facility and cellar, guests will be seated for a private tasting including rare Napa bottlings from the '60s and '70s, alongside current and upcoming releases from A&D. The A&D Grand Vin + Cheese Experience - $65

Our first ever wine-and-cheese pairing couples a vertical flight of Grand Vin (vintages 2014 to 2016) with a fromagerie journey from the valleys of Jura to the bordering Alps, including a foray into cave-aged and unpasteurized imports.

Californios Wine Dinner

Join us on July 22nd for an intimate and unforgettable dinner experience at 2 Michelin star-rated Californios in San Francisco’s Mission District. Hosted by Ashes & Diamonds proprietor Kashy Khaledi and winemaker Steve Matthiasson, we’ll taste the newly-released 2017 Bates Ranch Mountain Cuvée along with a curated selection of vintage and unreleased A+D wines, all while savoring award-winning Mexican-inspired cuisine from chef Val M. Cantú.
