ASHES & DIAMONDS’ Blanc is a blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc from carefully chosen vineyards in NapaValley (OakKnoll District and Yountville).The cool, foggy mornings and afternoon seabreezes from the San Pablo Bay are ideal for the racy acidity and citrus characteristics of SauvignonBlanc, while the Sémillon comes naturally endowed with the full complement of its trademark supple beeswax and fig flavors.These complementary varietals are picked when each is ripe and fermented separately in their barrels, racked to blend, and then left alone to rest with no stirring of the lees.The symbiotic blend results in a wine that is fully ripe and textured, yet bright, zesty and supremely age-worthy.
