Curbed San Francisco recently profiled the most architecturally forward wineries in Napa and Sonoma, placing Ashes & Diamonds high on their list of design-savvy stunners. The article notes that that while A&D looked "completely different from any of the hundreds of wineries in Napa Valley, its architecture struck a familiar chord, going back 60 years."
While waxing poetic over the winery's "Albert Frey-inspired porthole window", the "funky, zig-zag roof a la Donald Wexler," and a tasting room full of "natural light and pops of color", Lander likewise highlights the parallels between how both the winery architecture, and the wines themselves, hearken back to a golden age of tastes both aesthetic and oenophilic.
