Rancho Pequeño Vineyard

“Rancho Pequeño Vineyard” comes from Bart and Daphne Araujo’s Oakville property on the east side of the valley floor. Its deep soils are composed of alluvial loam washed down from the eastern Vaca Mountains, maintaining a high water table resulting in little to no need for irrigation. The grapevines bask in the afternoon sunshine, and are replenished by a cool marine influence at dusk and dawn. The expression of this vineyard is heightened by the Araujo’s commitment to environmental stewardship and biodynamic farming.
