Mountain Peak vineyard is an organically farmed vineyard situated high atop the Atlas Peak AVA in the Vaca Mountains, at an altitude of 1,400 feet. Planted in 2000, the site's thin, rugged soils are 60% rock content, resulting in low yields, tiny berries and loose clusters that maintain the conspicuous power of mountain fruit in the pour of a glass.
