ASHES & DIAMONDS’ Rosé is made of Cabernet Franc from select vineyards in Napa Valley (Los Carneros and Oak Knoll District). Collectively known as the “mouth” of Napa Valley, these sites take in morning fog and afternoon sea breezes from the San Pablo Bay, enabling the grapes to ripen slowly while minimizing the heat spikes that can rob the fruit of flavors. Their alluvial soils are derived from volcanic and marine sediments washed down from the Mayacamas Mountains into rich clay and sandy loam soil.
